May-Britt Moser
Il piccolo "maschiaccio" May-Britt, nata a Fosnavåg, in Norvegia, il 4 gennaio 1963 iniziò a osservare con grande passione gli animali che scorrazzavano dentro e fuori della piccola fattoria.
La sete di conoscenza la portò a studiare psicologia, matematica e neurobiologia.
May-Britt ha condiviso il Premio Nobel 2014 per la Fisiologia o la Medicina con Edvard Moser e John O'Keefe per il lavoro sulle cellule reticolari della corteccia entorinale e su altre cellule che rappresentano lo spazio.
Nel 2018 le venne concessa anche la Gran Croce dell’Ordine di St. Olav.

The little "tomboy" May-Britt, born on January 4th, 1963, in Fosnavåg, Norway, began to observe with great passion the animals that ran in and out of the small farm.
Her thirst for knowledge led her to study psychology, mathematics and neurobiology.
May-Britt shared the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Edvard Moser and John O'Keefe, awarded for work concerning the reticular cells of the entorhinal cortex and other cells that represent space.
In 2018 she was also awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of St. Olav.
